yasura® is an elegant urn made of massive peartree and maple wood with a hand-sanded glass loop. yasura ® is a Japanese wordcreation and means "rest in peace". Each urn is handcafted in small editions in Switzerland and a unique exemplar. yasura ® fits in a conventional urn alcove (columbarium) and is suitable for a burial in an urn grave as well.
A small urn may also be used for an ash splitting or after the dissemination of the ash a small part of it can be kept back and the urn can serve as a keepsake of the beloved person. The smallest model may also be used as relic urn. This allowes the bereaved to keep a small keepsake of the deceased - no matter if it is a small piece of jewellery, a ring, a small picture, a wisp of hair or another, special object. It is a consoling thought to set aside a small, personal keepsake in a special container and therefore, making it subsumable. Especially in a moving society like ours, a palpable memory can create the possibility of slowly letting go and can serve as a valuable alternative to visiting a cementary. With the integration of a small urn of memory, new rituals can be created indivitually. This urn is directly available in the studio urne.ch or can be sent to individuals by express transport. Conceived and created by "cosmicball".
The design of yasura ® is protected and is handcrafted in Switzerland through URNE.CH. Swiss Made.
