Handmade pottery, classical grave urn made of clay. The horizontally circular urns are characteristic. Slight variations in size, shape and patina underline the uniqueness. White symbolizes innocence, spiritual purity and wisdom. The artful design of urns, like it was common with the Greeks or Etruscans, mirrors the approach of life and death. The urn © is found in this tradition. It fits in a conventional urn alcove (columbarium) or is suitable for a burial in an urn grave as well.
A small urn may also be used for an ash splitting or after the dissemination of the ash a small part of it can be kept back and the urn can serve as a keepsake of the beloved person. The smallest model may also be used as relic urn. This allowes the bereaved to keep a small keepsake of the deceased - no matter if it is a small piece of jewellery, a ring, a small picture, a wisp of hair or another, special object. It is a consoling thought to set aside a small, personal keepsake in a special container and therefore, making it subsumable. Especially in a moving society like ours, a palpable memory can create the possibility of slowly letting go and can serve as a valuable alternative to visiting a cementary. With the integration of a small urn of memory, new rituals can be created indivitually.
